Annisa Charles
Journalism
Annisa Charles (she/her) has an associate's degree in journalism from Fullerton College and a bachelor's in communications with an emphasis in journalism and a minor in sociology from California State University, Fullerton (CSUF).
She also has a cosmetology license in California, an editing certificate from Poynter and a certificate in fashion writing and photography from Teen Vogue x Parsons.
While a staff writer for Inside Fullerton, she won two awards from the Journalism Association of Community Colleges (JACC) in spring 2020. Fall of the same year, she became Culture Editor.

In spring 2022, she became the Managing Editor of TUSK magazine. That fall, she became a staff writer and Photo Editor Assistant for the Daily Titan, CSUF's student-run school newspaper.
Charles has also been an intern for the Communication Department at CSUF since spring of 2022. She is helping develop a system for future interns to promote the Communications Department and all it offers students. She writes spotlight articles about all things happening in the communications department, alum profiles and creates connections with clubs and organizations.
